Tomorrow is the first day we begin packing Apparel items for economically challenged students in Indianapolis. This work begins on 9/15 and goes through 11/5. Working 4-5 days a week to provide 3,400 students with new school clothing, winter coat, hat and gloves, six pairs socks and underwear, four shirts and two pairs of pants, plus hygiene items all in a brand-new duffle bag.

The 2026 Operation School Bell Campaign is officially underway! On Tuesday, September 15th we will begin packing duffle bags with school clothing, a winter coat, hat and gloves, and hygiene items for the economically challenged students in our community. A check was presented by Dan Shumaker, Executive Vice President of AECOM Hunt to Kathy Detzler, President of Assistance League for $42,000. At Assistance League of Indianapolis, we work to make our community the best to live in. We like to have fun too! Recently, 10 members met to learn all about making and decorating chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels dipped in chocolate. It was a fun, informative, messy endeavor that turned out remarkably successful for a novice group. We all went home with professionally wrapped packages nice enough for gifting.
