I was proud to support the Greater Indianapolis Chapter-NOBLE Golf Fundraiser by sponsoring a hole on behalf of the Center Township Constable’s Office. Events like this help strengthen community partnerships while supporting the important work of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE).

It was truly humbling to serve as the commencement speaker for the graduating class of George Washington High School, a school where diversity and opportunity continue to inspire achievement.

As a proud public school graduate and former Indianapolis Public Schools Commissioner, graduations were always one of my favorite moments to attend because they represent hope, resilience, and the promise of a brighter future.

Special shoutout to my friend and brother, award-winning principal Dr. Stan Law, for the amazing leadership and impact he is making at GWHS. The students, staff, and community are blessed to have such a dynamic leader at the helm.

Congratulations again to the Class of 2026, your future is bright, it’s blinding! 😎 💜🤍

The Center Township Constable’s Office is keeping Deputy Jon Samuelson, his family, and the entire LaPorte County Sheriff’s Department in our prayers. Deputy Samuelson was reportedly shot after going out of his way to assist a stranded motorist and later learning the individual was connected to an earlier incident.

We are praying for his recovery and standing with our brothers and sisters in law enforcement during this difficult time. 🙏🏾🖤💙

Deputies with the Center Township Constable’s Office participated in an important training on Stress, Resilience, and Recovery: A Nervous System Approach to Well-Being led by Katie Carlson, Director of Wellness Initiatives at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The training provided valuable tools to help our deputies better manage stress, build resilience, and continue serving the community with professionalism and excellence. Supporting the mental, emotional, and professional wellness of our deputies remains a priority for our office.

We extend our sincere thanks to Katie Carlson for sharing her expertise and helping strengthen our team.
