As we continue celebrating Hoosier workers this Labor Day Weekend, my team and I were proud to participate in the North Salem Old-Fashioned Days Parade in Hendricks County. Even in the heat, it was great to see so many patriots out supporting our communities and the people who make Indiana the best state in the nation.

Our team kicked off the Labor Day weekend at the Little Italy Festival Parade in Clinton and we had a great time!

PJM just showed us why having reliable power is crucial.

As extreme heat pushed electricity demand higher, the U.S. Department of Energy stepped in to use every available resource to keep the lights on.

That’s exactly why our office is fighting to keep the Rockport coal facilities online.

Indiana’s economy is growing and electricity demand is rising. We cannot afford to shut down reliable generation.

Coal, natural gas, and nuclear all have a role to play.

Indiana must keep every reliable megawatt it has while we build the generation we need for the future. We’ll keep working to make sure we do.

Secretary Wright issues an emergency order to stabilize the Mid-Atlantic grid and mitigate the risk of blackouts.

Our office filed 4 lawsuits yesterday, alleging that different companies used deceptive and abusive sales tactics on Hoosiers seeking relief from storm damage.

This case is perhaps the most egregious of them all:

Our office has been fighting hard at every turn to eliminate sanctuary jurisdictions in Indiana.

We are doing this so illegal aliens are not attracted to our state in the first place or shielded once they get here—and so ICE can do its job without local interference.

We stand with ICE and want to thank them for making our communities safer and hope these critical operations continue in mass scale—not just here in Indiana, but across the country—until they are no longer needed.

We are monitoring whether any local government officials attempt to obstruct or impede these ICE operations and will not hesitate to enforce Indiana’s prohibition on such obstructions.

Following the severe August 11 storms that caused widespread damage across Indiana, our office is going after multiple contractors and businesses for unconscionable actions that preyed on Hoosiers in need.

Today my team and I held a press conference detailing the lawsuits we’ve filed and the civil investigative demands (CIDs) we’ve issued. These steps are not the culmination of our efforts—they are simply the tip of the iceberg. There will certainly be more to come.

Thank you to Indiana Department of Homeland Security Executive Director Jonathan Whitham and FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency External Affairs Officer Craig Browning for joining us and providing important information for Hoosiers seeking assistance with storm damage. And thank you to the Town of Griffith officials, Council President Rick Ryfa, Police Chief Albert Tharp and Building Commissioner Veronica Horka. We couldn't have brought a couple of these cases without their cooperation.

🚨Our office has filed a federal lawsuit accusing Amazon of overcharging businesses by potentially billions of dollars through a rigged auction system for online ads.

The complaint charges that Amazon’s practices violate Indiana’s Deceptive Consumer Sales Act through unfair, abusive and deceptive acts, as well as other federal and state statutes.

We will continue to fight to defend Hoosier businesses and consumers and ensure Amazon follows the same rules as everyone else.

Child identity theft often goes unnoticed for years — until a teen applies for a student loan, a job, or a first apartment and finds accounts they never opened.

On National Child Identity Theft Awareness Day, our office is sharing practical steps families can take now to safeguard their children’s identities:

Big win for the Constitution!

Our office was proud to lead and author an amicus brief with Idaho—later joined by 17 other states—in support of President Donald J. Trump and the construction of the privately funded White House ballroom and military complex.

This case was never simply about a ballroom. It was about upholding the Constitution’s separation of powers. The judiciary is not a venue for aesthetic disagreements or policy preferences; it exists to resolve cases involving concrete injuries and actual injustices. No party has standing to sue merely because it dislikes a project.

The Supreme Court’s decision correctly clears the way for this important project to move forward.
