The Housing Authority, also known as HAIC, has been proudly serving Indiana County for nearly 45 years by offering quality, affordable housing in a safe, secure environment for area seniors, disabled, physically or mentally challenged individuals, and low-to-moderate income families. Our agency owns, operates, or administers rental assistance for over 600 units throughout Indiana County.

Do you have questions about your child's development?

Lifesteps will be at the Indiana Free Library on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 10 AM–2 PM offering free developmental and autism screenings for children from birth to age 5.

These screenings provide an opportunity to learn more about your child's development and can help identify areas where additional support may be beneficial. Early recognition of developmental delays can make a meaningful difference in a child's growth and future success.

Appointments are free, but scheduling is encouraged.
