Department of Veterans Affairs national cemeteries will host a day of service and remembrance to honor victims of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

This year’s events take place on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10:00 am (local time)at more than 140 VA and state Veteran cemeteries and will include opportunities for community volunteers to clean headstones and participate in other cemetery beautification activities.

National Day of Service and Remembrance hosted at VA cemeteries marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

In July we saw an alarming increase of suicides in Indiana County. This is devasting for the community and now more than ever we want people to know that there are resources out there and that we as a community are here to support them.

Here are some of the local resource including the crisis hotline and some of the local counseling agencies.

You don't have to do this alone. Please if you are struggling or if someone you know is struggling, reach out to one of these agencies.
