Gillette Appointed to PSATS Standing Committee for Townships Over 10,000 Population
White Township is pleased to announce that Supervisor Sandi Gillette has been re-appointed to serve on the Committee on Townships Over 10,000 Population through the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS).
The Committee on Townships Over 10,000 Population is a standing committee of PSATS established to identify issues and challenges unique to larger townships, propose solutions through state and federal legislative initiatives, and facilitate the exchange of information, training, and technical assistance among member municipalities.
"Over the past year serving on the committee, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge. While issues may differ from one end of the commonwealth to the other, common sense and experience often help us address them effectively—especially when we work together."
Through her appointment, Gillette will work collaboratively with township leaders from across Pennsylvania to address policy matters affecting growing and developed communities. She will proudly serve the residents of White Township by advocating for their interests and ensuring their voices are represented at the state level.
White Township congratulates Supervisor Gillette on this appointment and looks forward to her continued leadership and service to the community.
