Hello romance readers,

For our September meeting, we’re heading into the magical, sweeping, and often wildly dramatic world of romantasy. ✨💘

Dragons, fae, magic, curses, kingdoms, dangerous quests… and, of course, romance.

Yes, we know: romantasy is more of a genre than a trope. But it’s hugely popular, and our book club readers have spoken! So this month, we’re embracing all things romantasy. 📚✨

Each month, we explore a shared romance theme. That’s what we bring to the table—you bring your own romance novel. There are no assigned books in this group.

Together, we’ll talk about the spark, the swoon, the world-building, the magic, and everything in between. What worked? What didn’t? Which books would you recommend? And how does romance fit into a story filled with magic, monsters, and high-stakes adventure?

Every kind of love story is welcome. All readers welcome. 💞

Sweet, steamy, or somewhere in between, all heat levels are welcome.

Whether you’re brand new to romance or a longtime romantasy enthusiast, The Trope of the Month Club is a flexible, inclusive way to read what you love and enjoy thoughtful, lively discussion with fellow readers.

📚 Date: September 16th

💘 Theme: Romantasy

📍 Location: Indiana Free Library

⏰ Time: 7:00 PM

Bring whatever romantasy romance you’re reading—or would like to talk about—and come join us!

We hope you’ll join us for a little magic, a lot of romance, and plenty of bookish conversation. ✨📖💗
