A truly electrifying and energizing event today for the Democratic Brunch at Chestnut Ridge Resort. Books. Bites. Banter. And a chance to meet the guy who wants to actually show up for District 62.

Friday, May 15th from 5 to 7:30 PM at Sam Lotson’s Book Store in the Indiana Mall (DMV entrance). Drop in any time.

$35 gets you a community sourced meal, live entertainment, and a free book. Kids under 12 are free. Bring the whole family.

This isn’t a rubber chicken dinner in a hotel ballroom. It’s a bookstore, real food from real neighbors, live music, and an honest conversation about what Indiana County needs from its next state representative.

Every ticket goes directly into building this campaign from the ground up. No PAC money. No corporate donors. Just neighbors.

I want to sincerely thank the United Mine Workers of America for inviting me to speak at your COMPAC meeting. It was an honor to be with so many hardworking men and women who have built and continue to power our communities.

I respect your commitment to protecting workers, supporting families, and standing up for what’s right. I appreciate the opportunity to share my vision for strengthening our region and creating real opportunity for working people.

Thank you for the warm welcome and for everything you do every day.

It was also great to see Lt. Governor Austin Davis and Fayette County Commissioner Vince Vicites before the meeting.

Common sense should not be a radical idea.

Keep the hospital open. Raise the minimum wage past $7.25. Stop letting cyber charters drain millions from our local schools every year. Expand tax relief for the families who are actually doing the work.

None of that is controversial. None of it is partisan. It is just what happens when your representative pays attention to the people they are supposed to be working for.

I have spent 30 years solving problems as a nurse. Not with press releases or culture war campaigns. With common sense, hard work, and showing up when it matters.

That is what I will bring to Harrisburg.

Addressing the challenges in PA-15 with a commitment to responsible and results-focused leadership. Let’s work together for positive change.

Seven years in Harrisburg. Let’s look at the record.

Jim Struzzi voted no on raising the minimum wage. PA workers are still making $7.25 an hour while every neighboring state has moved on.

He voted no on 12 weeks of paid family leave for new parents and caregivers.

He voted no on Sunday hunting, even though 142 legislators, the NRA, the Farm Bureau, and the Game Commission all said yes. He lists hunting as a hobby on his own bio.

He voted no on cyber charter reform that would have capped tuition costs and sent surplus funding back to our public schools.

And here’s the kicker: as Republican Appropriations Chair, Jim Struzzi is literally the person who controls where state money goes. Then he comes home and tells Indiana County parents that schools aren’t getting enough funding. You can’t hold the purse strings and play the victim at the same time.

HD-62 deserves a representative who actually shows up and fights for the people who sent him there. That’s why I’m running.
