Ms. Newing’s class had a high-flying learning experience as they explored the Great Reno Hot Air Balloon Race! 🎈✨

Students learned all about the different parts of a hot air balloon, the pilot’s job, and the science behind what causes hot air balloons to rise. They had a blast learning how these amazing balloons take to the sky!

Mr. Pendarvis's 4th Grade Class!

Our 4th graders in Mr. Pendarvis’s class are putting their thinking skills to work! 💙💛

➕➖ Math: Students are deepening their addition and subtraction skills through multi-step word problems and error analysis. By carefully reviewing incorrect problems, identifying where mistakes happened, and writing out corrections, they are strengthening their problem-solving strategies. 🧠✏️

🌊 Science: Students are exploring transverse and longitudinal waves! Through hands-on activities and interactive models, they are learning how different wave patterns carry energy.

We are so proud of the focus, teamwork, and hard work our students are putting into their learning every day! ⭐

We are so grateful for our amazing PTO and their never-ending commitment to our school! To everyone that contributed to this fundraiser, thank you for your support! We are so grateful for each one of you!

Happy Labor Day! We hope that everyone is enjoying time off today…for those that are having to work regardless of the holiday, we APPRECIATE you! We also appreciate the very hard work of our entire staff each and every day…they are all superheroes and we are so thankful!

Students have been working on narrative writing, practicing how to brainstorm ideas and using graphic organizers to organize their thinking. They are learning that great writers take time to plan, organize, and bring their ideas to life! 💭📝

In phonics, students are learning all about adding -ed to words to create past tense words. 📝🔤 They’ve also been working together to create and decorate their Boosterthon Fun Run flag! 🏃‍♂️🎨
