Today, some of our members took Engine 91, Tower 9, and Ambulance 98 to the Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen’s Association’s Touch~A~Truck and Fire Muster. Tower 9 brought home first place for Best Appearing Aerial Device! We would like thank all of the members who took the time to prepare the apparatus for this event.

With the recent cold weather, you’ll notice that a lot of neighborhood ponds and pools are frozen. Don’t trust the ice to be thick enough to hold you. People should never walk out on frozen ponds or even back yard pools.

Please teach the younger ones the danger of this activity!

To the students: remember to look both ways before crossing roads, and always use sidewalks when they’re available!

To the drivers: slow down when you see the students, ALWAYS STOP for the flashing lights of the school buses, obey the speed limits!
