IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!

Due to the forecast of severe storms tomorrow, we have decided to host the boat parade and 75th Anniversary celebration on Sunday July 19. The boat parade will kick off at 1:30 PM, and the band will play from 3 PM - 5 PM.

This decision was made to ensure the safety of our staff and guests that would like to attend the event. We hope to still see you all there!

Last night, Rescue Squad 8 and Tanker 8 responded to a commercial structure fire on Ray Drive in Company 11’s area. Rescue Squad 8 was assigned to establish the rapid intervention team, and also provided portable lighting. Tanker 8 was placed in service. The crew operated for approximately 40 minutes.

Please be sure to spread the word to anyone who needs help. The Mobile Food Market will be back this Thursday 7/16.

Whew!!! What an exciting 4th of July. Now that the excitement has been tempered, we're back to our regular $10,000 jackpot. Less than one week! Be sure to come out and celebrate 75 years of volunteer service to our community. We have dash plaques for boats that participate in the parade, T-shirts for sale, and you can enjoy some great food trucks and live music. Goose Bay has plenty of boat slip space available for those that show up by water and want to hang out for a bit. Come check us out!

Today, we send a huge shout out to our friends at the Bryans Road Food Lion grocery store. They dropped off a huge donation of bottled water, tea, and other snacks for our firefighters. Today marked the end of an era as our former Engine 8-2 pulled out of the station and left Pisgah for the last time. The Spartan/Luverne has served us well for the past 25 years. The engine was purchased by a private owner in Virginia.
