receives the Debbie Toomey Award of Excellence!
The Debbie Toomey Award, named after Jefferson School's first principal, is awarded to a 5th grade student, who during their time at Jefferson, consistently demonstrated the character traits that were taught and modeled by Mrs. Toomey. Those traits include citizenship, honesty, responsibility, respect, kindness, and integrity.
"Ady Breeding would be a great candidate for the Debbie Toomey Award. She consistently demonstrates the qualities of an outstanding student and community member through being honest, responsible, respectable, and always showing kindness.
Ady shows citizenship by contributing positively to the classroom and school. She is always willing to help teachers and peers. She will take the initiative when something needs to be done. Her actions show a genuine care for the well-being of others.
Ady can be trusted to do the right thing, even when it is difficult or when no one is watching. She sets a positive example for her peers.
She is responsible and respectful. She completes tasks, follows through on the things she says she is going to do, and she treats her classmates and adults with kindness. Her respectful attitude helps keep a positive classroom environment.
What truly sets Ady apart is her consistent kindness. She goes out of her way to help others that need help, she encourages her peers, and makes everyone feel valued and included.
I feel that Ady exemplifies all the characteristics and deserves this award."
Help us congratulate, Adelynn Breeding! ๐งก๐ค๐พ
