I am looking forward to the start of football season, Geaux Tigers! 🏈🐯💛

We could not be happier to have Independence Police Chief Frank Edwards III here to talk with our student athletes today.

It’s been a week since my re-election, and I’ve had a few moments to reflect on the past 4 months of campaigning.

First and foremost, I’d like to thank my family, friends and neighbors for their unwavering support and generosity. Thank you to everyone who honored me with their vote and for continuing to place your confidence in me.

I understand the responsibility you’ve entrusted me with, and it’s my mission to keep Independence a peaceful place to live and work. Here’s to 4 more years of fairness, safety and progress.

I hope you and your family have a blessed Easter weekend, and I’ll keep you all in my prayers during this holy time.

Sincerely,
Frank Edwards, III
Independence Police Chief
