💜Happy Grandparents Day!

Today, we’re celebrating all grandparents, especially those who have stepped up to raise, nurture, protect, and love their grandchildren. Sometimes when they never expected to be parenting again.

To the grandparents who make sure there’s dinner on the table, homework gets done, appointments are kept, and little hearts know they are loved: we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful for all you do. Today and every day, we’re proud to stand alongside Kentucky’s kinship families.

Meet Aubrey “AJ”! 💙

AJ is a smart, funny, athletic young man with a big personality and big dreams. He loves video games, hands-on learning, and making new friends. He hopes to one day become a professional video game streamer.

More than anything, AJ is hoping for a permanent family who will love him, support him, and encourage him as he grows.

Come meet local community partners, connect with helpful resources, and spend time with others who understand the unique journey of kinship caregiving. Most importantly, we’re coming together to celebrate the strength, love, and commitment it takes to hold a family together. 💙
