As we wind down Child Abuse Prevention month, the Buchanan County Sexual Abuse Response Team would like to take the time to recognize our outgoing SART Coordinator, Desirae. Desirae has accepted a new position with the Iowa Coalition of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

Through her work at the Riverview Center, Desirae has done a phenomenal job at bringing law enforcement, prosecutors, SANE Nurses, advocacy, and support services together to educate and discuss concerns related to sexual assault in our community. Our SART team will continue the mission in support of survivors of adult and child sexual assault.

Good luck, Desi!
