Vaile Victorian Society of the Vaile Mansion The Vaile Mansion opens Thursday April 2, 2026. You may buy your tickets at door. The 31 room mansionwas built in 1881 by tycoon Harvey Vaile.

Hours for the Mansion are Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm-4:00pm Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 6-12. Recognized as on of the finest examples of Second Empire Victorian architecture in the U.S.

This beautiful Borne is one of the first things you see stepping into the Mansion…a charming glimpse into Victorian-era etiquette.

Guests would wait here to learn whether the lady of the house was receiving visitors. If she was unavailable, they could leave their calling card in the bowl—a gracious way to say, “I stopped by.”

Even the simplest visit came with its own traditions! 🏛️✨

The 31 room mansion includes 9 marble fireplaces, spectacular painted ceilings, flushing toilets, a built-in 6,000 gallon water tank, and a 48,000 gallon w**e cellar.

The Vaile Victorian Society would like to thank John Perkins for his help and support in saving the Vaile Mansion from a potential sale. We are still working toward a GO Bond for restoration but John Perkins organized meetings for the Bingham Waggoner the Vaile Mansion and other entities. He was responsible for the current plan. Thank you John. He is the impetus for a potential solution for the historic sites. We appreciate your solution John
