Independence School District Music Department Greetings and welcome to the Independence Music Department. This page is to share what the music students are up to K-12!

It is our mission to stimulate every student to think positively, to work as a team, to believe in themselves, and to empower each student to reach their full potential. We will encourage and inspire students to be creative, responsible, compassionate, and respectful to themselves and others. It is up to every one of us to maintain and build on our attitude together.

A big thank you to Nanci for the festive summer-themed cupcake cakes and delicious meat & cheese trays available in the staff breakroom. These treats are helping our hardworking staff celebrate a successful year and fuel up for a well-deserved summer break!
