Today, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible generosity and partnership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This truckload of food represents so much more than a donation - it represents hope, compassion, and a shared commitment to caring for our community.
We are especially thankful because this is not a one-time act of kindness. Time and time again, The Church has been a constant source of support for the Imperial Valley Food Bank, whether through generous donations, volunteering at distributions, or standing alongside us in service. We truly could not do this work without partners like you.
A heartfelt thank you to Elder David and the wonderful volunteers from LDS for their dedication and support, and Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez and his team, who not only joined us for this special occasion but have also been out at our distribution sites, rolling up their sleeves and helping serve our neighbors. Their continued presence and commitment to our community mean so much.
What a blessing it is to work alongside organizations, leaders, and volunteers who believe that no family should go hungry.
Together, we are making a difference, one meal and one act of kindness at a time. Thank you for helping us serve the Imperial Valley with love, dignity, and hope. 💚🥫
