During National Police Week, we proudly recognize the dedication, sacrifice, and service of law enforcement officers across the nation. Every day, officers put on the badge and commit themselves to protecting and serving their communities, often facing difficult and dangerous situations in the process.

This week also serves as a time to honor and remember the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage and commitment will never be forgotten.

We thank all law enforcement professionals, past and present, for their unwavering service, professionalism, and dedication to keeping our communities safe.

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, and through the California Office of Traffic Safety, we’re reminding everyone to share the road responsibly.

Motorcyclists are more vulnerable on the roadway, making awareness and safe driving habits critical for everyone. Whether you’re behind the wheel or on two wheels, your decisions matter.

Safety Tips:

Drivers: Look twice for motorcycles, especially when changing lanes or making turns.
Motorcyclists: Always wear a DOT-compliant helmet and protective gear.
Everyone: Obey speed limits and avoid distractions like texting while driving.

Let’s work together to prevent crashes and save lives. Stay alert, stay visible, and ride safe.

🚴‍♂️ May is National Bicycle Safety Month 🚴‍♀️

This month, in partnership with the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), we’re reminding everyone to share the road and prioritize safety.

Whether you’re riding to work, exercising, or just enjoying the outdoors, bicyclists have the same rights and responsibilities as drivers. Simple steps can make a big difference:

🔹 Always wear a properly fitted helmet
🔹 Ride in the same direction as traffic
🔹 Obey all traffic signs and signals
🔹 Use lights and reflective gear at night
🔹 Stay alert and avoid distractions

Drivers—please remember to:
✔ Give cyclists at least 3 feet of space when passing
✔ Check mirrors and blind spots before turning or opening doors
✔ Be patient and share the road

Together, we can help prevent crashes and keep our community safe.
