FYI residents are allowed 3 bulk item pickups a year thru GFL. Please exercise this so all residents have a chance to utilize the dumpsters.

The Village has issued two solicitors permits to Conxxus, they are allowed to go door to door from 10 AM to 5 PM .

 We Need Your Help to Improve Our Water System

Our community has an opportunity to receive funding for critical watermain upgrades—but approval depends on resident participation in a short income survey.

The more responses we receive, the better our chances of qualifying for the grant.

* The survey is quick and confidential
* It does not affect your taxes or benefits
* It helps bring funding into our community—not out of it

If you’ve ever wanted better water reliability, pressure, or infrastructure—this is a real chance to make it happen.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. It truly makes a difference.

Not all residents received these income surveys as only income surveys are needed from the people on the routes that the water mains are on.

A few board members will be doing door to door greets within the next few weeks, if you still have your old income survey from the first time it was sent out we would love for you to fill it out and drop it off at the Village Hall. If not, those board members will have some with them to provide new ones.

Please save the date for June 6th, as it has been designated as our town's annual cleanup day. The school has kindly permitted us to place dumpsters for this event.
With that, we are also asking town residence to utilize GFL for your free three large pick up items for each calendar year. We only get 6 dumpsters that fill up quickly, so if you have any large items like furniture, you could allow other residents to able to utilize the dumpsters. You can call GFL and schedule a pick up for said large items. Thank you

Boil order has been lifted for Matilda and seventh Street everything should be good to go.

Update: We just heard from the EPA lab - Kelsan heights boil order has been lifted. The other two are still in affect

Hello, this is EJ Water Cooperative on behalf of the Village of Illiopolis. The EPA response regarding water samples for the boil order is still pending. Due to the State holiday on Monday, processing may be delayed. Notification will be provided as soon as results are received. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Water is shut off on seventh Street from Elizabeth to the RR tracks will be repaired by 8 AM tomorrow morning.
