Kicks for Kids

Kicks for Kids A charity dedicated to raising money and purchasing shoes for children in need who reside in Eastern Idaho.

Coins for Christmas is an on-going fundraising and benefit program administered in Eastern Idaho by East Idaho Credit Union. The program was created in 1987 on the simple philosophy of “kids helping kids” and on the power of the Christmas spirit. The program currently provides an opportunity for children of all ages to donate their spare pocket change to fund the purchase of new shoes for other le

ss fortunate children in eastern Idaho. The small gift of pocket change positively affects the lives of fellow schoolmates and teaches children the value of giving. Parents and other adults are also encouraged to participate in the fundraiser to support children in need in their community. During the fundraising time frame, children as well as adults are encouraged to donate their quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies to the Coins for Christmas program. After fundraising ends, all donations are deposited into a special Coin for Christmas fund at East Idaho Credit Union. This fund is then used throughout the year to purchase Payless ShoeSource shopping cards that are distributed to eastern Idaho children in need of new shoes.
