Justice Strengthens Our Community.
The Idaho Falls Fraternal Order of Police remains concerned following the sentencing outcome in the assault on Officer Peter Hansen.
When violence against officers is not met with appropriate accountability, it not only endangers those who serve, it also weakens the safety and trust our entire community relies upon. We respectfully ask our judicial leaders to ensure that violent acts are treated with the seriousness they deserve, for the protection of all.
