Attention Leslie District Court Jurors:

All jury trials scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the 41st Judicial District, Division 1, have been resolved. You do not need to report for jury duty tomorrow, May 27, 2026.

Your next scheduled jury date is Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Please report at 10:00 a.m. that day.

Hyden Firefighters are currently at the intersection of highway 80 and 421 taking up donations. Please use caution in the area, we care about our people. These donations are used for monthly expenses and every bit helps to keep the doors open. Thank you for your support!! Stay safe everyone!

Very proud of Deputy James Begley and Special Deputy Stewart Napier!

This weekend two of our firefighters, Chief Stewart Napier and Assistant Chief James Begley attended a low angle rope rescue course in Louisa, KY at the south eastern firefighters association fire school. Congratulations on becoming certified in low angle guys!!!

Reminder: the last day to pay 2025 Leslie County Property Taxes is Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, by end of business day. After April 15th any unpaid property taxes will become delinquent and will be turned over to the Clerk’s office.

‼️We can only accept money orders and debit/credit cards at this time. No personal checks (bank clearing time has passed)‼️
