This investment - conducted with firmness and respect – along with a structured and predictable system of behavioral standards will generate a positive school culture that is necessary to uphold high expectations and will enhance student achievement. We believe that instilling comprehensive subject area knowledge along with basic skills is necessary and enables "higher-order" learning. We believe that educators, parents, and community partners are unified in actualizing a shared vision to communicate, teach, and promote a specific set of values that develop integrity and character in all students.

☀️🎉 School is out! Make your summer a blast! 🍉💥

In an annual tradition on the last day of school, BRCPS 3rd Grade teachers took their classes outside for a 🔬🧪 science lesson on forces and pressure. Armed with a 🍉 watermelon and hundreds and hundreds of rubber bands, scholars and teachers wrap rubber bands around the middle of a watermelon to see just how many it takes before the force of the rubber bands creates enough pressure to make the watermelon 💥💥 explode!

This year's answer? 🤯🎯 500! 🍉💥

As another incredible year comes to a close, we'd like to thank our scholars, families, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners for making the 2025-2026 school year one to remember.

We hope our enjoys a summer filled with rest, adventure, laughter, learning, and time with loved ones. Whether you're traveling, attending camp, reading a great book, or simply soaking up the sunshine, we wish you a safe and joyful break.

As our scholars and staff prepare for a well-deserved summer break, we'd like to share our summer office schedule with our community.

📅 Important Dates:
• Last Day of School: June 22
• BRCPS Office Closed: June 29–July 3
• Office Reopens: Tuesday, July 7

🏫 Summer Office Hours:
Tuesday–Thursday
9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Please note that BRCPS will be closed on Mondays and Fridays from July 6 through August 7.

Whether you're enrolling a new scholar, requesting records, or preparing for the upcoming school year, we're here to help during our summer office hours. Our website is also a rich resource of information.

Today, Boston Renaissance Charter Public School honors and celebrates Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of justice.

Observed annually on June 19, Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom; more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

As educators, we recognize the importance of understanding our shared history, celebrating Black excellence, and inspiring future generations to build a more just and equitable world.

Today, we reflect on the past, celebrate progress, and recommit ourselves to shaping a brighter future together.

BRCPS scholars took on our annual End-of-Year 1 Mile Run—a fitting reminder that "The school year is a marathon, not a sprint."

Like today's run, a successful school year is built one step at a time through hard work, perseverance, and determination, all of which our scholars and families showed brilliantly this year.

With the last day of school just around the corner on Monday, the finish line of this school-year marathon is finally in sight. We're so proud of how far our students have come and can't wait to cheer them across one final finish line next week! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎉☀️
