The current Sheriff is Roger Marcoux Jr.We provide law enforcement services to Johnson, Hyde Park, Wolcott and traffic enforcement to the town of Elmore. Our Communications Center provides dispatching and 911 services to all the towns in Lamoille County, as well as Hardwick, Greensboro and Barre Town.

On May 14th, 2026, Terrence Maskell, 20, of Johnson, was cited on the charge of violating his conditions of release. Terrence will appear at the Lamoille Superior Court on June 3rd to answer to the charges.

On March 18, 2026, Aaron Lambert, 48, of Johnson, was taken into custody on the charges of Driving With a criminally Suspended License. Lambert will appear at Lamoille County Superior Court on June 17, 2026, at 1230 hours to answer to the charges.

On 5/11/26, deputies cited James Mason, 47, of Johnson on the charge of Criminally Driving with a Suspended License in Morrisville, he will appear at the Lamoille County Superior court to answer the charge.
