The Town of Hyde Park has a American Flag collection box @ the Hyde Park Police Station located at 3 Cardinal road. The Hyde Park Veterans Committee along with the Knights of Columbus and Boy Scout Troop 37 will be conducting a flag retirement ceremony in June.

Round 8 has started. Please when filling out the application provide what supporting documents you have and please provide the veterans date of birth. It makes it alot faster to process.

The Hyde Park Hometown Veterans Committee will participate in the Wreaths Across America program in 2026. The Wreaths are $17 each and until Dec 31 it's a sponsor 1,we get 1 free. We currently have 1300 Veterans graves at Union and 76 at St James.
Please go to Wreaths Across America website and sponsor a wreath or contact Craig Elderkin @ [email protected]. Please let's make this a successful year remembering our Hometown Veterans .

This Sunday the 14th of December @ 12 the Veterans Committee and the Boy Scout Troop 37 will be placing Wreaths on your veterans graves located in the Union Cemetery. There are 1300 veterans buried in Union and we only raised funding this year to cover 350.
The public is welcome to join us.
