First day of planting annuals at the Vanderbilt Gardens. Great turnout of volunteers to plant hundreds of Zinnias. At least two or three more days of planting to go. For information on becoming a volunteer, go to our website

Come see the Cherry Blossoms this week!!!!! They are spectacular and don’t last that long.

Spring is here and so are the volunteers starting their work of creating the beautiful gardens that thousands of people from all over the world walk through 😁😁😁. The cherry trees and the flowers in the perennial garden are just starting to bloom 🪻🌸🪷😁

Wonderful Vanderbilt Garden Association kickoff last Sunday!! It was good to see our experienced volunteers and some new ones as well!!! Attached pictures include our president presenting a lifetime award to a very long term volunteer!! Another member receiving a sweatshirt for reaching a specific number of volunteer hours. We are just a great group of people doing very important work. We are always looking for new volunteers!!!! For information send email to

***REMINDER ***. Come learn about becoming a Volunteer at the beautiful Gardens of the Vanderbilt estate. Garden Workers and Other types of workers are needed to keep the Gardens going. Without Volunteers, there would be no gardens!!!!
Come on down and meet some wonderful people and enjoy some free refreshments!!!!!

The Gardens are sleeping under a beautiful layer of snow… Before we know it The Gardens will awaken and our dedicated volunteers will be back tending to them. We always need more volunteers for garden work, the greeter program that helps raise money, and many behind the scene jobs that keep the association working!!!
