Mr. Reid, who was from Nevada, displayed his pugilistic instincts as he steered an economic stimulus package and the Affordable Care Act to passage.

Today we celebrate Juneteenth Freedom Day! The emancipation of enslaved Black people in 1865. Despite this day recently having become law and named "Juneteenth National Independence Day", there are many working to create laws which withhold funding from schools teaching about slavery and racism. This is nothing more than an attempt to erase the tremendous contributions Black people have made to the betterment of this country. It is why this fight continues until black people are totally and truly FREE!
