We’re excited to announce that the Hyattsville Elementary Pride Festival is back, and this year it’s bigger than ever. What began as a celebration for our school community has grown into a family event bringing together PTAs, PTOs, students, families, educators, and neighbors from across our area.

We’re especially grateful to be joined by our partners at the University Park Elementary School PTA, Mount Rainier Elementary School PTO, and Thomas Stone Elementary School PTO as we work together to create a welcoming space where every child and every family can feel seen, valued, and celebrated.

This event is about community. It’s about making sure all families know they belong. It’s about coming together to celebrate kindness, inclusion, and the many different stories that make our schools and neighborhoods stronger.

We hope you’ll join us for a day of fun, community, and Pride! 🌈💙

Nos emociona anunciar que el Festival del Orgullo de Hyattsville Elementary está de regreso, y este año será más grande que nunca. Lo que comenzó como una celebración para nuestra comunidad escolar se ha convertido en un evento familiar que reúne a PTAs, PTOs, estudiantes, familias, educadores y vecinos de toda nuestra comunidad.

Estamos especialmente agradecidos de contar con nuestros aliados de la PTA de University Park Elementary School, la PTO de Mount Rainier Elementary School y la PTO de Thomas Stone Elementary School mientras trabajamos juntos para crear un espacio acogedor donde cada niño, niña y familia pueda sentirse visto, valorado y celebrado.

Este evento se trata de comunidad. Se trata de asegurar que todas las familias sepan que pertenecen. Se trata de reunirnos para celebrar la inclusión, la bondad y las muchas historias que fortalecen nuestras escuelas y vecindarios.

📣 Reunión Comunitaria de la PTA de HES

¡Acompáñenos el martes 2 de junio de 6:30 a 7:30 p.m. en el Parque Infantil Driskell para nuestra próxima Reunión Comunitaria de la PTA!

Tendremos pizza, bebidas y muchas oportunidades para convivir con otras familias mientras celebramos el cierre de otro increíble año escolar.

Hablaremos sobre las actividades de fin de año, las ceremonias de promoción, actividades de verano y las nominaciones para la Junta Directiva de la PTA del próximo año.

Ya sea que haya participado todo el año o que sea su primera reunión, nos encantaría verlo allí. Las grandes escuelas se construyen con comunidades fuertes, y cada voz importa.

📣 HES PTA Community Meeting

Join us on Tuesday, June 2 from 6:30-7:30pm at the Driskell Park Playground for our next PTA Community Meeting!

We'll have pizza, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to connect with other families as we wrap up another incredible school year.

We'll be talking about upcoming end-of-year activities, promotion celebrations, summer fun, and nominations for next year's PTA Board.

Whether you've been involved all year or you're joining us for the first time, we'd love to see you there. Strong schools are built by strong communities, and every voice matters.
