Huxley Fire and Rescue Huxley Fire and Rescue provides Fire, EMS, and Ambulance services. We are a volunteer department with paid-on-call staff for our Ambulance service.

The Fire Department serves the eastern half of Palestine Township - to include the City of Huxley. Our EMS Division and Ambulance also serves the Palestine Township - to include the City of Huxley and the City of Slater. We are on-call 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. We run over 300 calls for service per year. We are ALWAYS looking for people interested in joining Huxley Fire and Rescue! Please

Tomorrow marks one year since McKenna left this world far too soon.

A year may pass, but it doesn’t erase a name, a smile, a memory, or the place someone holds in the hearts of the people who love them.

McKenna is remembered.
Tomorrow. Today. And every day.

As a fire & rescue family, we know that being there for one another doesn’t end when the call is over. We stand beside our own through the good days, the hard days, and the days when words simply aren’t enough.

To her family, please know this: you never have to walk through this alone. We are family, and we will always be here.

We are overwhelmed and so thankful for all of your support at our hog roast yesterday. With your gratitude we were able to raise just over $13k for our ambulance's Stryker Power Cot replacement. We are blown away by the support and sense of community! There were so many smiling faces, the camaraderie was in full force and we thoroughly enjoyed getting a chance to talk with so many of you. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU 💛

This week, the HFR crew joined forces with Ballard Athletic Trainer, Jordan Hayes, and his team to go over spinal precautions training. These joint trainings help build camaraderie amongst our teams and prepare us to act swiftly with care in the event of an emergency.
