Community engagement + career readiness + a whole lot of Hippo pride!

We LOVE welcoming our HHS helpers into classrooms at Nadine Johnson! These future-ready leaders are gaining hands-on experience, building connections, and discovering what it means to serve and support others, all while bringing extra energy and excitement to our NJES Hippos.

Our students are already loving their new helpers, and we are so grateful for high school students who are excited to jump in, lend a hand, and be part of the learning happening across our campus!

Mrs. Payne kicked off station work in the library today! Students rotated through engaging activities focused on kindness, emotions, and self-regulation. They read about kindness, completed sorting activities, and practiced different tools they can use to help regulate their bodies when experiencing big emotions.
