🎬🍿 Kids Summer Movie Series 🍿 🎬

For many families in Crawford County, the kids summer movie series was a tradition. When our local theater closed, it left a gap in our community—and a lot of kids (and parents) missed having that fun, affordable summer activity.

While we know we can't replace the theater experience, we wanted to do something to help fill that void and create a place where families can gather, make memories, and enjoy a movie together this summer.

Join us for a FREE Kids Movie on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of June and July at Highland Church of Christ!

The Robinson Public Library has been serving the community for over a century—long before its current building!

✨ In 1904, local newspaper editor George W. Harper helped bring a library to Robinson by securing a $10,000 donation from Andrew Carnegie.

🏛 The original Carnegie library opened its doors to the public on February 21, 1906.

👩‍🏫 The first librarian, Mona Rutherford, began a legacy of service that has continued for generations.

📖 By 1923, the library had already expanded to include a dedicated Children’s Library.
For decades, the library has been more than just a place for books—it’s been a hub for learning, history, and community connection, preserving hundreds of thousands of pages of local history along the way.
Now, 50 years after the establishment of the current library district, it’s time to celebrate! 🎉
