Today we celebrate Jeff Thomson as he closes an important chapter with Interfaith and begins an exciting new journey.

Jeff has been a valued part of the Interfaith family, bringing dedication, compassion, humor, and a servant's heart to everything he does. His impact on our team, our mission, and the people we serve has been immeasurable.

After much prayer and reflection, Jeff has accepted an opportunity to continue his calling through faith-based, mission-focused disaster ministry work with Brethren Disaster Ministries. While we will certainly miss his presence, leadership, and the countless ways he made our workplace better, we are excited to see how God will use his gifts in this next season.

Jeff, thank you for your commitment, your friendship, your willingness to jump in wherever needed, and for the many laughs along the way. You have helped make Interfaith a stronger organization and a better place to work.

First-round hiring for the Interfaith Construction Apprentice Program has officially been completed!

Interfaith Housing and Community Services and Hutchinson Community College have partnered to create a new registered apprenticeship opportunity for students enrolled in the USD 308 HC&TEA Building Trades course.

Our new apprentices are now employed by Interfaith, earning a competitive wage while gaining valuable hands-on experience in new in-fill construction and residential renovation projects.

This partnership creates a direct pathway from classroom learning to skilled workforce development while helping address local housing needs in our community.

Special thanks to our educational partners, as well as the Hutchinson Community Foundation, for investing in workforce development and innovative housing solutions for Hutchinson.

Wildcat IT is sponsoring their 4th Annual ATV and UTV Community Fun Run! 🏁

Join us Saturday, June 13, 2026 for a day of adventure and community fun — all while supporting Interfaith Housing and Community Services and the Reno County Veterans Memorial.

Collect cards along the route for prizes, enjoy donuts and coffee, and take part in the raffle.

Calling all handyman! If you would like to make a couple dollars and help out one of your neighbors, give me a call! Miss Petty purchased this home about 10 years ago and needs to deal with some of the shake cedar siding. As with all siding on our seasoned homes around town, some of this siding needs to be replaced. If this is something that you have the skills, time and desire to help Miss Petty with leave me a message and I'll connect you with the homeowner.
