Today, demolition began on the old Hurst Hills Elementary, marking the end of an era for a place that holds so many memories for our community.

For many of us, Hurst Hills Elementary was more than just a building—it was a gathering place, a landmark, and part of the story of growing up in Hurst. Seeing it come down is a reminder of how quickly time passes and how our school district continues to evolve.

Things are moving fast, so if you'd like one last look at this familiar piece of HEB history, now is the time. While the building may soon be gone, the memories made there will remain.

Our campus is SO lucky to have this group of Dad's! They have come up every Friday to shake hands and welcome our students! It has been such a fun year and I can't wait to have greeters at the new building!
