Tonight’s cans and kayaks event is cancelled. We are experiencing some strong winds. Please keep a look out for future events and help us acknowledge world hunger day next year!

We are so excited to announce our first annual Cans&Kayaks event!

May 28th is National World Hunger Day. The purpose of the day is to raise awareness about global food insecurity, by empowering communities to end chronic hunger!

This annual event will kickstart our initiative in helping out our local community. Come kayak (or paddleboard) with a park ranger around our Desert Pearl Island during sunset. Donate canned goods for park entry!

We will keep track of how many cans and such are donated, with the plan to top it the following year! Help us start off strong.

Registration is required for this event! You can find the link to register on our website! See you on May 28th!

PROPANE ONLY IN PRIMITIVE! No wood or charcoal allowed!!

And now we have the means to help you out!

Stop by the visitor center if you’re planning to camp in our primitive campground. We rent out the fire pits and propane tanks!

Even if you are not camping in our primitive area, you can still purchase propane tanks for your needs!

We are so excited to offer this amenity, hopefully it helps create lasting camping memories for you and your crew!

‼️Ranger Led Program this week (05.20) ‼️

Join a Park Ranger for our monthly movie meetup at (8:30pm). We will be at the OHV staging area! The movie of the month is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs!

Bring chairs or picnic blankets or blow up mattresses to sit back and relax while we enjoy the movie experience!

Popcorn is provided by the park to make your experience more memorable. We recommend bringing something to drink and snack on if popcorn isn’t your style!

The program itself is free. Park entry is required. Utah State Park Annual Passes, purchasing a Day-Use pass, or camping with us all count as park entry.
