School has officially started, and our Hurricane Elementary Safety Patrol students are already out helping keep their classmates safe each morning and afternoon.

We’re proud of these kids for stepping up, serving their school, and helping create a safe start to the year. Please show them kindness, patience, and a wave as you pass by.

🚌 There will not be an afternoon bus for kindergarten today.

🚀 Grades 1–5 will attend a full day of school today.

We are so excited to welcome our Cougars back to Hurricane Elementary and begin a year of Explore • Discover • Learn!

📍 Open House: Tuesday, August 11 | 2:30–4:00 p.m.
Come meet teachers, visit classrooms, and explore the school!

📚 First Day: Thursday, August 13
First bell: 8:55 a.m. | School begins: 9:00 a.m.

🖍️ Kindergarten: Dismissal is at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lunch will be served, but there will be no afternoon bus at noon, so families will need to arrange pickup.

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow at Open House and officially blast off into a great new school year on Thursday! ❤️🖤🐾🚀
