We are participating in the DEAโ€™s National Drug Takeback Day this Saturday, April 26 from 10AM to 2PM at the Milan Police Department, 11 South Main Street, Milan. We will be accepting any unneeded medications in pill or capsule form and we will also have an appropriate container for the disposal of syringes. Thanks to Milan PD--and the Erie County Health Department, whose employees will be on site with various health related handoutsโ€”for their assistance with this event.

โ„๏ธ Don't let this happen to you! โ„๏ธ

The City of Huron would like to remind residents of the Snow Parking Ban that takes effect during a snow event. Whenever snow falls to a depth of two (2) inches or more, a snow emergency is declared. During the period of a snow emergency, vehicles are not permitted to be parked, abandoned or left unattended on city streets, public ways or designated parking areas. (Ordinance 351.19)

A Snow Parking Ban not only enables the snowplows to thoroughly clean up the roadways in a reasonable amount of time but also enables the Huron Police Association and Huron Fire Department to safely serve our Huron community. ๐Ÿš›๐Ÿš“๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš‘

If you have space, be a good neighbor and help someone out who may have nowhere to temporarily park. โ„๏ธ๐Ÿš™โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ›ปโ„๏ธ

For questions or concerns, please call the non-emergency number:
419/433-4114

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
