Training NEVER stops for Huron Fire Department!

Tomorrow morning (Thurs, June 11 8AM to noon) the DIVE team will be out sharpening critical underwater search, recovery, and rescue skills from the Fire Boat off Nickel Plate Beach!

Preparation and teamwork are the foundation of every successful operation! 🤿🚒

🚧Just a reminder🚧

Today, Monday, June 8th both the east and west bound lanes of US 6 between Williams Street and the western edge of the City limits will be CLOSED. This section of roadway will be closed until August 14th for the construction of a roundabout! 🚙🚗🛻🚚🔄

More than two months after receiving their new fire truck, Huron firefighters completed the necessary training to put this new vehicle into service.

Known as ladder truck 451, it entered service on Tuesday. It's now ready to respond to 911 emergencies in hopes of protecting the public: https://sanduskyregister.com/news/1033912/fire-truck-enters-service/
