The 153rd Engineer Battalion's HHC and FSC Soldiers were honored to present colors at Agtegra's customer and employee appreciation concert on August 2nd, 2025, at the Huron State Fairgrounds. The color guard members were SSG Andrew Marshall, SSG Beau Manning, SPC Samantha Thomson, and SPC David Jensen, positioned from left to right.

In recognition of SFC Billy Heisinger’s last drill in the South Dakota National Guard, he received his Retirement award, Governor’s proclamation and special gift from the 153rd Engineer Battalion. SFC Heisinger served close to 30 years with SDNG. His mentorship, dedication, perseverance, and leadership has made him a valusble asset to the SDNG. His speech was heartfelt and sincere. You will be missed SFC Heisinger. We wish you the best on your retirement and your next adventures.

The American Legion Post #7, Huron, South Dakota reached out asking for assistance with a clean up project for a local disabled Veteran. The AGRs of the HHC & FSC, 153rd En Bn volunteered. It took half the day to clean up the overgrown vegetation and haul it away. Thank you Full-time force for your contributions.
