Even though we had rain last night please no burning,

Sullivan County will remain in a High Fire Danger for today Saturday 4/11 and Sunday 4/12. We had several fires yesterday, please do not burn. BURN BAN IS MARCH 16 TO MAY 14

NYSEG has notified us that tomorrow (Thursday, April 9) there will be two brief power outages lasting less than 5 minutes, affecting Fallsburg in the areas served by the Old Falls Substation. The first will be between 6 and 7 AM. The second will occur between 6 and 7 PM.

Please no Burning,

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for most of Sullivan County, lasting from 12 to 6 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday). A combination of very low humidity and high wind gusts, along with dry vegetation, will create conditions ripe for brush fires. DO NOT BURN ANYTHING OUTDOORS.
