4th of July parking.

2026: All vehicles that are parked in the lower parking lots near the Softball Fields and the Soccer Fields will need to leave on Kevin Williams Drive, the main entrance to the park. Cars in the upper lots on the north and south side of the youth baseball fields will exit at the light on the north side of the fields. All traffic exiting the park will be directed north on 75. All traffic exiting from the HEARTS Veterans Museum and the Prison Museum will be directed South on 75. Please be patient and expect delays leaving the area of Kate Barr Ross Park when the fireworks show has concluded. Additionally, vehicles will not be allowed into the park after 8:00PM

The Frank D. "Poncho" Roberts Aquatic Center is trying something new and will be open on the weekends from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM until school ends. Then we will open with our regular schedule for the Summer!!

Join us on May 10, 2026, in celebration of Mother’s Day starting at 4:00 PM at Emancipation Park, located at 300 MLK Drive.

Bring the whole family out to enjoy an evening filled with free food and drinks, give card giveaways (five lucky mothers will win!), and much more. Come celebrate the queens we call MOM with a day full of love, fun, and appreciation-because YOU DESERVE IT!

GREAT NEWS from the City Council meeting last night!! Mayor Russell Humphrey and City Council Member Vicki McKenzie will also sponsor the registration fees for 5 teams each!!

A HUGE THANK YOU to them and City Council Member Casey Cox for their sponsorship of the FIRST 15 TEAMS!!
