The 2026 TDCJ Horse Sale brought an incredible turnout to the Sonny Sikes Arena this past weekend! 🐎🏟️

73 horses were presented by staff and inmates from the Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Logistics Division, and this year marked the first time inmates rode the horses in the sale. The opportunity allowed them to demonstrate horsemanship and presentation skills used throughout agricultural and livestock fields.

TDCJ appreciates Elite Auctions LLC for hosting the event and thanks everyone who came! 🤝
