At sunrise, General Services team members Mike Jones and Douglas Bushyeager began lowering American flags across the city to half-staff, in a commitment rooted in respect, remembrance and service.

Heads up! Construction related to the Big Spring Park expansion will temporarily impact traffic on Church Street between Clinton and Williams Avenues beginning next week.

The Church Street upgrades will enhance pedestrian safety, construct streetscape features and better integrate the east and west sides of Big Spring Park – including a new crosswalk across the roadway.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes, if possible, during the improvements. 🚧
