UCP’s Parent Connect Group is proud to promote awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month! This year's theme, “Pinwheels of Possibilities”, highlights the importance of creating safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children and the blue pinwheel represents the bright, healthy future every child deserves.

Parent Connect, a part of UCP’s Family Connections program funded by Alabama Department of Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention, offers valuable parent education and support while also providing a welcoming space for parents to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker, Dr. Vicki Howell, for her informative session on navigating the IFSP and IEP process.

Parent Connect will meet again on June 9. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions or would like more information.
