It's time for the 43rd Annual Fishing Rodeo at Sharon Johnston Park!

Make plans to bring your little fishing buddy on Saturday, May 9th for some fishing and some great prizes! Ages 5 to 15 years old can participate. We will provide the bait, but we ask that you bring your own fishing pole.

As always, this is a free family fun event!

Student must register for the Fall 2026 semester between April 1, 2026 and June 30, 2026 and pay account balance by the Fall payment deadline of August 16, 2026. Payment options include payment in full, enrollment in payment plan, or authorized financial aid. Partner tuition discount form must be sent to Athens State University by July 1, 2026 to receive the promotional tuition discount. NOW HIRING: CIVIL ENGINEER
This is technical work in preparing engineering drawings, maps, and other data for public works engineering projects. Work involves preparing precise drawings and maps from engineering and survey notes using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Data is collected, generated and disseminated for private, commercial and public works construction projects. Work is performed with independence of judgment and action. It is then reviewed for adherence to policies and procedures, accuracy and completeness and for results achieved. Work is checked and reviewed frequently throughout its progress and at its completion by senior engineers.
