The 313th has a couple of joint performances coming up with the 100th Army Band! You can watch them perform the national anthem at Talladega Superspeedway on April 26th on national TV.

And if you're going to be in Nashville, you can watch them perform at the Grand Ole Opry on May 19 in their Salute to the Troops!

If you've ever been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans, you know the Rex parade on Fat Tuesday is an all day event. People show up early to claim their favorite spots and the parade stops ...a lot. During these times of pause, the Army band gets to interact with the crowd, answering questions about the Army Bands and hearing their stories of family members who have served or musical history. Flashback to last year's Rex Parade at Mardi Gras! 1SG Wills, 1SG Moss and SFC (now MSG) Baccala wait in preparation for the start of the Rex Parade. This parade is held annually on Fat Tuesday and is the largest and oldest of the Mardi Gras parades held in New Orleans. It's a wonderful opportunity for soldiers from 81st Readiness Division sister units to join in representing the Army, Army Reserves and Army bands.
