The KMP Leadership Academy was presented with the Restorative Justice Award for years of service devoted to leadership development, healing, and restoring purpose within the justice-involved community.

The KMP Leadership Academy, developed by Ken and Priscilla Pate, provides evidence-based leadership and cognitive programming designed to address trauma, mindset, and personal development with special focus on justice-involved veterans.

Through the KPM Leadership Academy, their work empowers veterans to rediscover purpose while equipping them to become leaders within the prison system.

These veteran leaders then serve as mentors to the broader inmate population, creating positive cultural change within the units. Ken and Priscilla volunteer consistently across multiple facilities, including weekly programming at the Huntsville Unit.

Thank you for everything you do!๐ŸŽ‰

At the Huntsville Unit, we are proud of the work being done every day to help individuals develop the skills and mindset needed for a positive return to the community.

A special thank you to our Reentry Coordinator, D. Stansberry, for the dedication and guidance provided to those working toward a fresh start.
