The UAH Chargers ended the 2025-26 season with numerous program-first milestones, including a program-record 32 wins, which earned their way to the NCAA Division II Final Four. Additionally, the team ranked in the Top 25 national poll, another historic achievement for the Chargers.

The Alabama A&M WBB Bulldogs finished the 2025-26 season strong, capturing their first The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) regular season championship. Head Coach Dawn Thorton was also named the 2026 SWAC Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year. The Bulldogs clinched the title with a 16-1 conference record and closed the regular season on an outstanding 15-game winning streak.
