🏀BELLA UPDATE🏀

They put in a new drain from her skull to relieve some pressure, they are monitoring her in PICU for the next several hours to see what the next steps are. They said she was trying to wake up right after sedation and that the drain looks like it’s doing a job relieving pressure. They think her shunt is clogged due to surgeries yesterday and that’s the reason for the external drain.

WOW! WHAT A WAY TO SHOW OUT CENTRAL COMMUNITY‼️

💚In One Night, Three back to back games, we raised a total of $7,668 from passing the boot! 🥾

While we know Bella still needs our prayers and has a very long way to go this is just one way we can come together and show that we are fighting with her!

💚Bella Update: Bella came through surgery good. They are sending off the fluids to make sure it’s not infected and hopefully we will get answers tomorrow from the results. They only made a small incision to drain the fluids off her head .

The family has shared three ways to donate through CashApp, Venmo and PayPal, as well as any cash donations.

Thanks to Wears Chapel Baptist Church they have set up a text number to share!! Just text “Give $[whatever amount you’d like] Bella” to the number on the flyer! Whatever is donated through the number will be combined and given directly to the family! 💚

We hope to see everyone tonight! Let’s enjoy some basketball, while rallying for Bella! 🏀

💚Bella Update: Surgery this morning at 10:30 to drain fluid and check for infection!!💚🙏

📆 Today is the day! Let’s come together for Bella today!

🙏🏼 She needs prayers for surgery today! Tonight is the game, where we will be passing the boot for donations!

24/7 Health Club -Huntsville Club will be matching donations up to $2,500 so let’s make that happen!

🩷💚 Bella Update: They have done a ct scan and MRI and found that she has fluid on her head.
The shunt is working properly but the fluid is under the bone flap . She will be going to OR today to figure out if they will be able to draw the fluid out or if it’s infected, then the bone flap will have to be removed and the area cleaned! They drew fluid from her knee to send off to see if it’s infected! Her knee is swollen. We ask everyone to please pray for Bella! We are ALL fighting for you Bella!

📆 Tomorrow is our chance to show up and show this sweet girl that Central Community is FIGHTING FOR YOU BELLA!

🚒 Central Volunteer Fire Department will be passing the boot during all games to help support Bella’s recovery and medical care and get her to a facility that she desperately needs!

🩷Bella Update: she has been having a fever off and on for a few days, they ran some test and drew blood to find she has a blood clot in her main vein on the upper side of her leg. It's the same leg where the surgeries were done!
Please keep Bella in your prayers she is in Birmingham receiving therapy every day, and we are hoping this doesn't set her back. 🙏🏼
