Today I had the privilege to attend Congressman Dale Strong's Washington Update hosted by Huntsville/Madison County Chamber. He provided an update regarding Space Command, Appropriation Bills, Golden Dome, new Veteran's Cemetery, and much more. I appreciate the hard work he is doing for the 5th Congressional District!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

An out-of-this-world event is landing in Madison on Monday, August 31! Help us welcome NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the Artemis II astronauts to Toyota Field for a presentation of their mission highlights and an interactive Q&A with Artemis II crew members! Gates open at 5 PM, with the presentation starting at 6:30 PM.

I attended another great event Back to School Breakfast hosted by Madison Chamber of Commerce. It was great to hear from Madison City Schools new Superintendent Eric Terrell. He spoke about this past years achievements, the current school year, and the systems needs and priorities moving forward.

I had the opportunity to welcome attendees this morning at the Space and Missile Defense Symposium in Huntsville. On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to meet with industry leaders and hear from speakers regarding Redstone Arsenal, Space Command, and North Command. This years symposium was the biggest yet, with over 12,000 attendees. I am proud that Huntsville continues to play a vital role in our National Security!!!

I want to welcome DuoTech Services to Madison County. We had the ribbon cutting ceremony to open their new 25,000 sq. ft. Defense Sustainment Facility yesterday. DuoTech is known for rapid prototyping, agility, high speed ex*****on, and cost effective solutions.

I want to wish all three school systems in Madison County a great start to the school year!!! Our school systems help prepare our students with a top-notch education that will set them up for a bright future!!!

As a way to show my support, we presented Free 2 Teach with a check to help the schools, teachers, and students receive the resources they need to have a successful year!!!🎒🚌🍎✏

Two weeks ago a group of Huntsville leaders attended the London International Airshow! This was a great opportunity to meet with industry leaders to discuss economic and business development for our area.
