The Madison County Courthouse, Service Centers, and all county offices will be closed Friday, June 19, 2026 in observance of Juneteenth.

Primary runoffs are today, June 16, 2026. Precincts are open from 7:00am-7:00pm. Make your vote count. There are still several races to be decided. The winner of these races will advance to the November general election.

Last Thursday we had our 2nd Annual Madison County Leadership Summit at Burritt on the Mountain! This is a great opportunity for our county leaders to receive valuable training. We had speakers from Troy University, Jessie Rosa and Michael Jackson, join us to provide a Color Dynamic Communication Assessment and Generational Training.

I am proud of our leadership team as they continually strive to meet the needs of our growing community!!!

What a game! The final score was Redstone 14- Rockets 12. I want to congratulate team Redstone on their win!!! We will be back to claim the trophy next year! Thank you to everyone in the community who came out to support both teams! This was another great event celebrating Armed Forces Week! 🥎🚀 🏆

Armed Forces Week is an exciting week in Madison County!!! Today I attended the Armed Forces luncheon and heard LTG Gavin Lawrence, AMC Deputy Command General & Redstone Arsenal Senior Commander, speak about the support our entire community shows our war fighters and employees at Redstone Arsenal.

Yesterday we kicked off the week with the Armed Forces joint proclamation signing.

Today I had the privilege of speaking with Committee of 100. I shared my vision for Madison County, provided an update to its members, and answered lots of insightful questions. Committee of 100 is a great partner in our business community and I look forward to working with them in the future!!!

Yesterday I had a chance to meet with Dr. Donald Leo, new UAH President, on his third day on the job. I want to congratulate him and welcome him to Madison County. I look forward to working with Dr. Leo in the future and wish him much success in his new role!!! Go Chargers!!!

Today myself and several commissioners had the chance to tour Toyota Motors Alabama and receive an update on all their accomplishments. I would like to congratulate them on 25 years here in Madison County!!!

Toyota has been a great community partner, from providing local grants to our schools systems to support STEM education, Care Closets to provide kids with essential resources, and employees volunteering when a natural disaster hits our area. We are proud to have Toyota Alabama here in our community and wish them much success in the future!
